YukiChie is the femslash ship between Chie Satonaka and Yukiko Amagi from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Chie and Yukiko are childhood friends. They first meet when they are young girls, and Yukiko has found a homeless dog. She wants to take it in, but her parents forbid it. Chie sees her crying and asks what's wrong. When Yukiko explains, Chie begins to make funny faces in an attempt to cheer Yukiko up. Yukiko begins to laugh, and the girls introduce themselves. Chie says that they're officially friends now.
Chie and Yukiko stick together throughout middle school and into high school. When the murder of Saki Konishi is announced, the second murder in a short span of time, Chie begins to worry as Yukiko has not shown up for school. She eventually gets in contact with her and confirms that she's safe, but Yukiko soon begins to appear on the midnight channel. The next day, Chie, Yu Narukami, and Yosuke Hanamura, discover that Yukiko has been kidnapped.
The trio enter into the TV world to save Yukiko. Along the way, Chie's shadow materializes, telling her that her friendship with Yukiko was never real. It says that Chie always likes that Yukiko relies on her for everything, and that she's jealous of how "perfect" Yukiko is. Chie fights back against the shadow, telling it that she does not feel that way. Using their personas, Yu and Yosuke help Chie to defeat her shadow self. In the end she accepts that she does have jealous feelings towards Yukiko, but she swears that she will try to be a better friend.
Yukiko, for her own part, begins to realize that she relies too heavily upon Chie. She sees that their relationship is unhealthy, and that they both seem to be using each other. They've lost the pure friendship of their childhood days, but after defeating her own shadow self Yukiko joins in on Chie's promise to be a better friend. It's clear that, despite the roadbumps they've gone through together over the years, Chie and Yukiko care deeply for each other.
Chie and Yukiko stick close to each other for the rest of the game, often seen together. Chie stands up for Yukiko against the advances of boys that she's uninterested in. They are both terrible cooks, nearly poisoning Yousuke and Yu on their school camping trip.

YukiChie is the most popular femslash ship in the Persona 4 fandom, and the third most popular ship overall. Fans started shipping them practically from the beginning, as they were shown to be two incredibly close friends. However, the secrets revealed by their shadows definitely encouraged people towards a romantic relationship for Chie and Yukiko. Some people argue that Chie's jealousy of Yukiko's looks (and subsequent compliments she gives of them throughout the game) hint that she has a crush on Yukiko, but is unsure of how to come to terms with it.
YukiChie is often shipped in conjunction with SouYo and KanNao. While HanaChie is a mildly popular rival ship, YukiChie continues to be incredibly well-loved. There are currently over 500 works on AO3 for this ship.
