Yulivia is the femslash ship of General Yunan and Lady Olivia from the Amphibia fandom.
Canon[]
Yunan is a egotistical and rash, preferring to act first then ask questions. Her arrogance often gets the better of her. While Olivia tends to be the opposite. Olivia as an aloof and elegant lady, who prefers to talk things out rather then rely on brute force. Despite their opposite personalities, the two get along, and eventually get together by the series end.
Amphibia[]
Olivia and Yunan have apparently known each other before the series began. Due to them being newts who live in Newtopia and serve under its King. As well as them being acquainted with Marcy, as shown in her opening. Their roles of general and lady, however, means that their paths don't cross with one another very often. Even though Olivia's position and role in the castle most likely means that she gets informed of the battles and orders that Yunan are given.
In "True Colors", Olivia gets captured by the Toads that got into Newtopia and was being taken to the dungeon. Luckily, after an angry Anne punched one of the toads Yunan used the distracted that Anne unknowingly provided her to attack the Toads. When Yunan began to go into her very long introduction, however, Olivia stopped her knowing that they don't have time to hear it and needed to get out of the castle before anymore toads showed up. With help from Anne and the plan she formed, the two were able to help her, the Planters, and Marcy in their fight against the Toads. Anne had also stated that both Olivia and Yunan are the most respected people to the kingdom. Even though the two were happy to stop the Toad's attack and get their King back on the throne, Olivia and Yunan were shocked to learn that King Andrias was evil this whole time, as well as the his ancestors being conquerors than peaceful explorers. When Andrias's robots began to attack the group, Yunan takes out one of the robots that were about to attack Lady Olivia. Despite how both General Yunan and Lady Olivia briefly defect from Andrias, a brief moment in "Turning Point" shows the two newts stating that they are still on their King's side. As they knew that resisting him in that very moment would be pointily and would be safe for both of them to stay on his good side.
By the time of "Olivia & Yunan", however, both Olivia and Yunan realized that they could no long stand idly by while Andrias continues to destroy Amphibia and had began to worry that their King might have fallen into madness. When they caught him talking to the Core through his crown, while believing that he was talking to himself. Knowing that they alone can't take on Andrias, the two decided to work together in order to save Marcy in an attempt to rebel against King Andrias. Knowing that they won't be able to fight him without her wit, even though the events of "True Colors" had Yunan being unsure if Marcy or any human could be trusted, Olivia manages to convince her that Marcy is their best and probably their only hope. When Lady Olivia had first brought up the idea of committing an act of treason, General Yunan advised her to speak of it in silent to prevent the wrong people from uncovering their plan. Olivia served as Yunan's guide through the underground champers that holds the dark secrets of their worlds conquering ancestors, as Olivia's times sneaking into the champers as a girl is what allowed her to reassure Yunan that the chained moss creature is harmless and that the flower is a sign of friendship. When it seemingly looked like that the two had succeeded in their task to save Marcy, despite a brief moment of their opposite opinions on how to help Marcy snap out of her drowsy-like state, Marcy was unfortunately recaptured and taken over by The Core. Lady Olivia and General Yunan were captured and then force to wear Mind-controlling collars to serve both Andrias and the Core.
In "The Beginning of the End", The two newts were freed after Anne and Sasha broke their collars.
In "The Hardest Thing", As everyone says their goodbyes, Yunan and Olivia hold hands, showing their mutual feelings for each other. 9 months later, they are shown to be officially a married couple, and consider moving into Wartwood with the frogs.
Fanon[]
While Yulivia was not developed at first, fans soon started to support the couple after the events of "Olivia & Yunan". By the series final, the fans were happy that the ship was confirmed. Even though many were happy with how the series had ended, some were sad by the fact that the series had showed very little Yulivia-like moments when they were beginning to like the idea of shipping them. Some of the fans that are drawn to the ship are those who enjoy opposite attract couples.
On AO3, the ship currently has 222+ fanfics. Some of them are of the aftermath of the series finale, as well as to fill in the 10 years later gap. As there are theories that the matching neckless they wore could possibly be Wedding Necklaces, meaning that the two might had got married at some point. Along with the two ending up together has inspired to create drawings and posts of Yulivia on Tumblr, as well as DeviantART having a few drawings that are marked under the ship's title. Some of the drawings as the two as human versions of themselves. Fans also like to portray Yulivia as Marcy's adoptive moms, since other than Andrias, who betrayed her, they are the adults who Marcy became closest to during her stay in Newtopia.
