YumiCon is the friendship between Ymir and Connie Springer from the Attack on Titan fandom.
Canon[]
Ymir and Connie had a tense relationship, and would often clash. When Armin is found by Connie, and is having a mental breakdown, he asks what happened, only to be answered with more crying. Ymir tells Connie to leave him, and mentions how Armin's squad is dead and how he's the only one left standing. Connie, angered, and prepared to physically fight her, calls her a cold-hearted bitch. Before Connie could do anything, Krista gets in the way and tells them that it normal to be stressed out in these times. Ymir then tells Krista to marry her, and helps the other soldiers supply. The two meet again, where Connie tells Ymir what happened during the battle.
Days later, Connie and Ymir are taken outside Wall Sheena and stripped from their equipment. When Nanaba claims that Titans have invaded, they all escape on horseback. Ymir and Connie are assigned to separate squads. Nanaba notices that there's Castle Utgard, where they can take refuge and spend the night there before going back. There, Ymir asks Connie about his village, and Connie tells her that Titans trampled his home. Ymir starts feeling a little bad for him, and Connie says that he saw the Titan on his house, and claims that it looked like his mother. Ymir starts mocking him and laughing, calling him an idiot and wondering how he's so small if his mother is a Titan. Connie tells her to shut up and go to bed. It turns out that Ymir had said that to make him feel better, and focus his mind on other things. As Titans swarm around Castle Utgard, Connie is shook to the that the Beast Titan is there, and asks what it is.
Hours pass, and Mike's squad is eaten. Ymir asks to take Connie's knife, which he gives before Ymir pats his head. Connie asks what she'll do with it, and Ymir says that she'll fight, and reminds Krista of the promise they made on the snowy mountains. She them jumps off, slices her hand and turns into the Jaw Titan. Connie is greatly shocked, and wonders if Ymir is really on humanity's side due to having hid this power forever. Ymir starts breaking the tower down, and tells the group to grab on if they want to live, Connie grabs onto her hair, and Ymir crushes all of the Titans with the rubble. When Ymir is on the verge of death, and being overpowered by the Titans, Connie becomes shocked and is in fear. The Scouts then save them, and Connie watches aside as Krista tells Ymir her true name.
After Ymir is captured by Bertolt and Reiner, Connie is willing to save her, understands Ymir's love for Historia, and how Ymir is only serious when it comes to her. Upon meeting Ymir inside the forest, Connie is comfortable enough with her to step on her Titan's head and call her "ugly".
Still, Connie didn't seem to give much care when Ymir left, and concentrated instead on Historia.

Their friendship has gotten a positive-like energy from the fandom, and their popularity has improved since Ymir patted Connie's head, which would lead many fans to see that Ymir was possibly making fun of Connie's height. In artworks, Ymir has a somewhat violent behavior to Connie. Fans have noticed how different Ymir and Connie were from each other, Connie being a friendly, optimistic person and Ymir being distant from the other recruits and somewhat brutally honest behavior, which would lead her actions to seem more 'rude'.
