Yunbludo is the friend ship between Bludo and Yunobo from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Bludo is the boss of the Goron Group Mining Company who employs fellow Gorons to mine for gems and ore to help provide for their families and he has Yunobo as his assistant on the job as well as carrying out various tasks such as getting him the painkillers for his chronic lower back pain due to old age. When Divine Beast Vah Rudania began to stir and cause trouble for the Gorons, Bludo had the Bridge of Eldin raised to keep it trapped in one spot which is the volcano and forbade any access as a result to prevent it from crossing over and terrorizing the Gorons even more. He and Yunobo would always pair up to drive Vah Rudania back into the crator on numerous occasions, but to their frustration, it always came back. During Rudania's latest return, Bludo's back was already hurting so he sends Yunobo to the cave storage to pick up his pain medicine, however, Yunobo did not return and Bludo assumed he was slacking off, unaware of his fate where he was actually trapped by a rockslide blocking the entrance. After meeting Link, Bludo asked him to find Yunobo to find out where he was off to. After Yunobo was freed, he was able to give Bludo his medicine before heading out to the volcano. However, Bludo's back once again flared up and admits that he is not doing good right now and is forced to cancel the battle until it improves. However, by the time his back improved, Link and Yunobo were successful in not only driving it back, but Link destroyed the source of Vah Rudania's behavior with Bludo teasing Link that his pain went away just as he succeeded on the job and made it look like he was faking it to avoid battling it and he adds that Yunobo is more mature than he was and gives credit to Link for helping him find his courage and confidence.
Tears of the Kingdom[]
In between the time skip, Yunobo is able to move on from being a simple apprentice to Bludo, to being a president of his own mining company called YunoboCo. Once the Upheaval occurs at the beginning of Tears of the Kingdom, Gloom begins to infect the sirloin rocks that convert them into Marbled Rocks that made the Gorons unproductive in the workforce and take on much more ruder tones, while the children and elderly were unaffected by them. "Zelda" visits Yunobo and gives him the strange looking mask that alters his personality that made him much more abrasive and disrespectful to everyone around him, including Bludo, whom he insulted a lot and also yells at the kids Slergo and Offrak. After Link destroys the mask and he and Yunobo defeat Marbled Gohma in the Fire Temple, the Marbled Rock Roasts ceased to exist which returns the Gorons to normal. Upon return, Bludo and Yunobo were able to reconcile as the latter learned about the mask that was responsible for Yunobo's behavior.
Fanon[]
Yunbludo is a rareship among the fanbase as their relationship is not as notable to them compared to Yunobo's relationships with more prominent characters with not much fan art of them going around. This has gotten some attention by the time Tears of the Kingdom came around with only a few fan fics that focus on their friendship a bit more than what they got in the games. Bludo usually tries to be patient with Yunobo's shortcomings, especially with his general shyness and cowardice when it comes to doing something he is too scared to do, which makes him appreciative of Link for helping him break out of his comfort zone more. Tears of the Kingdom marked the first time there was animosity between Bludo and Yunobo but this is due to the latter being influenced by the strange mask that the imposter of Zelda gave him and after this explanation that the two of them patch things between them and return to being on good terms. Given the major biological age gap between them, fans would prefer to ship them as they are in the games, employer and employee.
