Yuriashe is the slash ship between Yuri Leclerc and Ashe Ubert from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Yuri and Ashe come from incredibly similar backgrounds. Both were born commoners before being adopted by a noble in Faerghus. At some point, the two had met as children, as they would later recognize each other during Cindered Shadows. This was likely due to Lord Lonato, Ashe's adoptive father, answering to Count Rowe, who adopted Yuri. Both also enjoy cooking for people.
Ashe is one of six units playable during the Cindered Shadows storyline. In this storyline, the player first meets Yuri and the rest of the Ashen Wolves. If Ashe confronts Yuri during Chapter 1 of CS, Yuri will recognize him as Lonato's adoptive son. This makes Ashe, in turn, recognize him as Rowe's adoptive son. When Ashe suggests taking Yuri back to Rowe territory, Yuri laughs and warns Ashe to watch himself, lest he lose a limb or his life.
If Yuri is recruited into the Golden Deer or Black Eagles and the player sides with Rhea in the latter, starting the Silver Snow route, he can be sent to confront Ashe as an enemy during Chapter 15: Valley of Torment. If this happens, it will trigger unique dialogue between the two. Yuri will ask Ashe if he truly intends to forfeit his life for House Rowe and tries to convince him to stand down, Ashe will respond saying that he will gladly pay his own life to stand for his own beliefs. If Yuri defeats Ashe, the latter will die, but if Ashe was recruited prior to the time-skip and is defeated by Byleth, he will defect back to the Player's army. Unfortunately, despite their unique dialogue and chemistry with each other, Yuri and Ashe don't have any supports conversations with each other, meaning the player can't learn more about their dynamic or see their friendship grow.
In the spinoff game Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Ashe and Yuri are finally given a support conversation. In it, Ashe objects to Yuri's devious actions on both moral grounds and out of fear that Yuri will get himself killed. He then vows to protect his friend either way, and while Yuri grumbles he seems to appreciate the sentiment.

Yuriashe is a very unpopular pairing. However, it does have its followers, however few they may be. This is mainly due to the fact that they have similar backstories and interests, along with having known each other at some point prior to the game. The "I like you. Don't be an idiot." line from their dialogue at Ailell seems to be the main contributor to fans of the pairing, and conversely, their lack of supports seems to be the main reason it doesn't have many followers. A popular trope among Yuriashe fanfic writers is for Yuri to nickname Ashe "sparrow."
