Yurika is the femslash ship between Monika and Yuri from the Doki Doki Literature Club! fandom.
Canon[]
During Act I of the game, Yuri and Monika seem to be on good terms, though there is not much interaction with either of each other, they are similar in terms of looks, both of them having long hair. They are also the more mature girls of the four club members. Act II Yuri and Monika are both yanderes, after Monika tampers with Yuri to make her less likeable to the player. Of course, if the player had not stepped in, things could have turned out differently and they both could have ended up together.
If we go more into their Act I relationship, Monika seems to be encouraging towards Yuri, and defends Yuri when Natsuki is about to say something mean. Even in the fight between them, Monika tends to take Yuri's side, as her poems are also less simple, but more abstract than Yuri's. They share the same interests, and never get into fights. Overall, the relationship between the two is friendly in Act I.
In Act II, they are both yanderes, like mentioned before, but their relationship seems to be more negative, as Monika is constantly saying bad things about Yuri for the player to not like her. But, this is only because the main character is from the real world and Yuri is in the game. If the player were in the game, then Monika would not love them unless they were self aware.
Fanon[]
Most of the fandom that ships Yuri x Monika ships them because of Yuri's yandere like nature in the second act of the game. These fans think that both Yuri and Monika are compatible, and some ship Sayori x Natsuki. The ship is one of the less popular ones, being behind ships like Natsuri and Sayosuki. Ships like this are controversial given what Monika did to the other characters in the game. Much of the community still remains divided on ships like these. This does not take away how cute this ship and its fanart is, though. A lot of the fandom don't ship them romantically, seeing them platonically instead (friendship). Many people say that they are just good friends with common interests.
Monika is also probably pansexual given that she does not care about the players gender or who they identify as, she will love them unconditionally. This could also mean that it is possible that she had a crush on Yuri. Yuri's sexuality is unknown, but she is presumably either bi or heterosexual, the former being a headcanon, the latter is more probable.
