YutaMichi is the het ship between Yutaro Kurose and Michiko Tendo from the Chainsaw Man fandom.

Canon

Yutaro Kurose and Michiko Tendo are Public Safety Devil Hunters from Kyoto. They both share a physical feature – a horizontal scar across her face, which Tendo has on the right cheek and Kurose has it on the left. They are from Division 1, and first they are introduced together on the train station as they wait for Makima to arrive. They receive news about Makima’s death, and Tendo seems annoyed they waited for nothing. They are both surprised to see she actually survived. Kurose asks if they should go to Tokyo to assist them in potential enemy who targeted Makima, but she says they should be able to deal with it from Kyoto. She gives them tasks and asks Tendo to rent out a shrine.

At the shrine, Tendo and Kurose are present during Makima’s rite. Their eyes are covered with a blindfold. Tendo explains it to Kurose: they are simple Devil Hunters and they re not allowed to see what devils Makima has contracts with. After it’s over, they go to Tokyo. Yotaro is very hesitant when he tells Makima that they are in Tokyo for only one week as they plan to come back to Kyoto after they finish with training Devil Hunters here. Both he and Tendo seem very unsettled.

Tendo and Kurose go to the hospital where Aki is recovering to tell him they will train Special Division 4. They barge into the room and notice Aki is crying so they ask if they should step out for a moment. They warn Aki that he will have to get a contract with a stronger devil than he had had before the recent attack, which means to give up on the idea of retirement and peaceful life, and after the man agrees, Kurose tells Kurose agrees with his and Tendo’s supervisor from Kyoto that all hunters from Division 4 are insane.

Later, Tendo and Kurose lead Aki to a special facility where the organization keeps devils. Kurose asks Aki if a woman he saw visiting him at the hospital was Aki’s girlfriend, and unimpressed Tendo tells her buddy to get his mind out of the gutter. When they drop Aki off, Kurose tells him that his and Tendo’s lives were ruined by the Gun Devil and that is why they joined the Public Safety. Before returning to Kyoto, they go sightseeing.

Fanon

YutaMichi is considered a rarepair. Not much is known about Tendo and Kurose’s personal lives, but the two have managed to capture love and affection of CSM fans working together as a buddy duo. Yutaro and Michiko tend to work well together, they both seem to be on the same wavelength, both being open and very straightforward people. Their line of work doesn't deter their enthusiasm and the two of them might look like they don't mind what they are doing, except for the times when they have to work with Makima, who appers to evoke a strong sense of anxiety in both if them. The physical feature Yutaro and Michiko both share, the vertical scar extending over the bridge of the nose, is a trait that fans love and accept as a unique peculiarity that unites them.
