YutaRika is the het ship between Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Yuta and Rika met in an hospital and became friends. Rika gives Yuta a ring as a birthday present. The two promise to marry each other when they grow up. Later in the day Rika is killed in a car accident. Yuta then accidentally curses her, causing Rika to become a cursed spirit.
Cursed Child Arc[]
Rika is very protective of Yuta. Four students who were bullying Yuta, were seriously injured by Rika who was protecting him. Following the incident, Yuta tried to kill himself but Rika got in the way and saved him. It was during this time that it was decided that Yuta would enroll into the college in order to exorcise Rika one day. Upon meeting him, the students notice Yuta is cursed and try to attack him and Rika appears to protect him from them.
Yuta fully summons Rika to fight Geto. While fighting, Rika manages to collect all of Yuta's friends and the two get them to a safe location. Rika gets jealous of the attention Yuta gives to Maki and grabs her. Yuta tells her to let Maki go, which Rika releases Maki and apologizes for what she has done. Yuta then points out that Geto is their enemy, which Rika says that she hated Geto too because he was Yuta's enemy.
Yuta plans to sacrifice himself to remove the limits on Rika and defeat Geto. He thanks Rika, tells her he loves her and kisses her to make a binding vow. Rika's curse dispels and it is revealed it wad indeed Yuta who cursed Rika because he couldn't accept her death. Rika does not want revenge. On the contrary she hugs Yuta and tells him she was truly happy being at his side. Rika says goodbye to Yuta and disappears.

On Archive of our Own, YutaRika had 183 fanfictions written under its name. It is the third most popular Yuta ship behind InuOkko and YutaMaki. Yuta and Rika were childhood friends who met while they were both hospitalised. Rika gave Yuta a ring and they promised they would marry each other. When Rika was killed in front of Yuta, he couldn't accept this reality and cursed her. Rika became a cursed spirit and she always protected Yuta and stayed with him because her love for him didn't disapear with her death. During the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons Yuta tells Rika he loved her and freed her from her curse.
