Zaivy is the het ship between Zaid Hakim and Ivy Berki from the Disventure Camp fandom.
Canon[]
In the intro, Zaid is talking with Ivy and Tristan. Tristan dips out of the way which leaves room for Zaid and Ivy looking at each other before being surprised by Tristan holding a stuffed sloth.
Come One, Come All[]
Zaid and Ivy are put on the Red team alongside, Tristan, Spencer, Diego, Jade, Benji, Hannah and Amelie. Ivy, Zaid and Tristan are gathering material for their shelter for the challenge. Ivy struggles lifting a wooden log but Zaid helps carry the wood for her which Ivy thanks him for. Zaid and Tristan exchange ideas for a "dark carnival" theme for their shelter. Zaid says "Quite the mind reader, isn't he?" which Tristan feels uncomfortable with since they're non-binary. Zaid asks what that is, with Ivy then helpfully explaining what non-binary means. Zaid understands and then apologises to Tristan, which they happily accept. Ivy says in a confessional that their team is a vibe and that it's nice to not worry about fake personalities.
Down and Dirty[]
While Diego is leading group yoga to some of the team, Ivy loses loses her balance while standing on one leg but Zaid catches her and she giving him a appreciative look. Later on, Ivy and Zaid discussing Diego and yoga. Zaid pulls out a Thimbleweed from his pocket and starts eating it which confuses Ivy. Zaid states that it's an edible leaf and asks Ivy if she wants some, causing Ivy to compare him to a koala which Zaid laughs along with. He speaks on his experience in culinary school and how he learnt more there than in science class. Ivy tells him she didn't finish high school because her parents let her drop out to pursue acting, which surprises Zaid and asks if it's risky. Ivy answers that it can be, the two sit in silence for a bit and begin to sip on their waters to avoid more awkwardness. In a confessional, Zaid says that Ivy's a good egg but she's is definitely from a different walk of life than him.
During the challenge, Ivy is up against Logan on the platform. After taunting Logan, Ivy hits her stick in Logan's face causing him to fall down. Zaid shouts and encourages Ivy from the team's bleachers. While in the end, Ivy gets pushed into the mud by Logan and loses that round, when she walks back to the bleachers she's comforted by Tristan and Zaid.
Hot Mess Express[]
During the yoga session, Tristan and Ivy quiz Zaid on ingredients to various dishes, and he gets them right. Ivy tells Zaid to not let it get to his head which he laughs with until discussing with them who they vote out if they lose.
In the Truth or Dare challenge, Zaid steps up and picks Truth and is asked by Emily to explain the worst dish he's ever made. Zaid looks distraught but Ivy comments "That's not so bad!" Zaid shakingly asks if he could forfeit but due to Tristan cheering him on and Emily's reminder that he's wasting time, he finally admits that he's cooked koala tacos which heavily disturbs the rest of his team. Ivy asks "Why the koala, Zaid?" which Zaid desperately defends that he was only hired to and that he didn't know before hand and he needed the money. Red team manage to move on to the next train, Ivy and Tristan are seen comforting a regretful Zaid while moving on.
Later in the challenge, Tristan gets a dare to punch one of his teammates in the face which they're very uneasy about. Zaid steps up to volunteer to get punched since Tristan seemed pissed about the koala. Ivy however overly encourages Tristan about the punch which Zaid gives a concerned look, she's apparently that she's still not over the fact that Zaid cooked a koala.
Jumping the String[]
The next day, Ivy and Zaid play in the water together. Ivy recognizes the beach isn't littered like back home, prompting Zaid to make the movie reference, "Well we're not in LA anymore, Dorothy" while smirking. In response, Ivy splashes Zaid, causing him to laugh. He suddenly gets serious and begins apologizing. Ivy assumes it's for the overused reference but Zaid claims it's for his truth about the koala tacos in the previous challenge. Ivy suddenly begins apologizing for overreacting but Zaid splashes her. She smiles and begins chasing him playfully until he stumbles across a crab. Wanting to make gumbo out of it, Zaid tries to catch it, causing Ivy to put a hand on his shoulder, telling him to "watch the pinchers." Them, along with Tristan, later talk strategy.

Later during the challenge, Tristan apologizes to Zaid for interrupting him and Ivy earlier that morning, but not without piecing together what is going on between the two, causing Zaid to blush. He stutters, however tells them it's not the right time to be talking about it and walks off to hide from the Blue Team before Tristan can bring it up again. Later, them along with Ivy, are seen celebrating after their team wins the challenge.
Husk-Court Line[]
Ivy falls into Zaid's arms while she's acting and they smile at each other.
The next morning after the previous episode, Zaid and Ivy are seen eating crab when Benji walks in on them. After he shows off the "immunity idol" to them, they both start laughing uncontrollably about it, commenting on his foolishness in-between laughs. The actress says she will gladly give Benji some acting tips and Zaid pokes laughs at her for thinking she could turn him into an Oscar winner, though she remarks she's seen worse than Benji. Zaid suddenly asks her if they're being too mean but Ivy brushes it off saying they're just poking fun at the law student. When Zaid notices her hand cramp, he takes it in his and they both smile at the gesture, however the cook begins to act and gets shocked, claiming her palm reveals that she'll end up having 5 kids. Ivy immediately notices he's lying and begins to act, fake tearing up over the fact she's not ready to be a mother and falls into Zaid's arms, causing the pair to smile at each other. However Tristan and a few other members of the team walk in on them, the goth asking if they interrupted anything to which Zaid denies but accidentally drops Ivy, earning a glare from her. After Diego asks to speak to Spencer, Tristan comments on their "young love" and nudges Zaid at the implication, making the cook facepalm himself.
During the challenge while Tristan and Ivy are finding coconuts, the former asks the latter what she thinks of Zaid, telling her he might be into her. Ivy blushes and says she likes him because he's tall, a great cook, has a great beard and is happy with the fact they get along well, saying this while she gazes happily into the sky. Despite her reaction, she claims she and Zaid won't work out together due to their values and life paths being "too different," and halfheartedly claims the two are better off as friends.
Tough Act To Follow[]
For the musical challenge, Ivy immediately takes charge of her team, favoring to do her song with Zaid and Jade, taking their arms eagerly and dragging them off away from the team. Zaid can later be seen agreeing with Ivy that she should be the main lead singer in front of the marine biologist. They, along with Spencer later write 'This Blue Moon' with Ivy as the princess, Zaid as the knight and Spencer the dragon. While Zaid is preparing to go onstage to perform his song, Spencer points out that he's incredibly nervous to be kissing Ivy as part of their song, making the cook blush and fumble over his words. He blushes even more once Ivy reveals herself in her princess costume to the two of them. During their song, Zaid rescues Ivy from "the dragon" and gazes lovingly at her while she's singing. The two share a kiss to finish the song before receiving their scores. They would've won but thanks to Ivy's remarks, their team loses the challenge and Zaid comforts her.
Zaid cheers up Ivy while flattering her at the same time.
Later that day, Zaid is walking along the beach before spotting a crying Ivy against a tree. Zaid sits down alongside her and tells her beating herself up over her mistake will only make things worse. He takes Ivy's hand and asks her what her true goal is in life, and it's to make people smile. Her words cause him to blush and he tells her that she's made him smile every day since they've met. He tells her he thinks she's hilarious, kind, "the biggest dork ever," and a star. His words cheer Ivy up, thanking Zaid for helping her. The two then proceed to fall asleep with their heads against each other's and Ivy's hand in both of Zaid's.
Taking the Line[]
At her team's shelter, Ivy is seen upset for losing her team the previous challenge. Zaid sees her and tells her she can't just avoid everyone and expect them to feel sympathy and she tells him she needs a plan to make sure she isn't hated anymore, telling him she'll be social after she proves herself. She then begins to explain how after she proves herself, her mess up will be "a little blip on her record" and people will just laugh over it, gradually getting more anxious thinking about her mishap while Zaid can only flash her a nervous smile. Before the challenge starts, Ivy elects herself to go on the ferris wheel and Zaid volunteers to be her backup. When the actress is immediately hit, Zaid worries over when she claims "gravity did the work." While the cook eliminates Natalia and is praised, he notices Ivy gets upset and frowns, though this is enough to distract him and get hit by Richard, eliminating him from the round. In his confessional, he states supporting Ivy might come with more obstacles than he originally thought.
Zaid expresses great concern over Ivy's injury.
During the last round of the challenge, Ivy pops her shoulder thanks to Anastasia pushing her over. Zaid immediately runs over to her in worry and immediately begins to panic when she winces over her sore shoulder, helping her up before Derek and Trevor inspect her. Despite his concern, she chooses to continue with the challenge. After their team loses the challenge, Zaid asks if Ivy's shoulder is fine and she coldly replies it is. Their team arrives back at their shelter and Spencer begins berating Ivy for slowing the team down, causing the actress to tear up and the cook to defend her before she walks away. Zaid catches up to her and tells her he wanted her to sit out and be safe instead of hurting herself even more, but Ivy tells him to "drop the boyfriend act" and leave her alone, making him sad and walk off before she's comforted by Tristan. When the goth is eliminated, they tell Zaid to "take care of (her)" and promises to before they walk to the boat of losers.
Fanon[]
Zaivy is one of the more popular ships in Season 4 with the two having adorable chemistry with each other but also alongside Tristan who can be viewed as the third wheel of some sort. The two are heavily implied to be a romantic couple in the future alongside other pairs in the show like Diencer and Anarissa. As of episode 5, it's confirmed the two have a mutual attraction to each other, making them even more likely to get together in the future of the game, especially with Tristan's elimination in episode 7.
