ZeeMagic is the cargo ship between Zatanna Zatara and her magic from the DC Comics, DC Animated Universe, Smallville, Young Justice and DC Super Hero Girls fandoms.

Zatanna's ability to use magic is something that she has inherited from her father. Who gets her to use them for entertainment purposes, like the magic show Giovanni started and shares with her. Whenever Zee finds herself losing control of her powers and becomes fearful of herself because of them, Giovanni was there to help Zatanna see that her powers don't make a danger. After he passed away, Zatanna's magical abilities allow her to see and speak with his spirit, helping her to rebuild the confidence to use her powers. Although she continues to use her magic to keep his show alive, her connection to Batman gets Zee to use them to help people than just entertain them alone. Allowing Zatanna to save a lot of lives with her magic, and has helped the Justice League with magic related dangers and cases. Thanks to the knowledge and skills she has from its world.

Seeing her father use his magic as a member of the Justice League, from being inspired by the love for his daughter, Zatanna wanted to use her magical abilities as a hero too.

Justice League Dark

The animated film of the DC Animated Movie Universe has had many scenes and moments of Zatanna using her magic. She starts off with her performing a mind blowing magic act, that ends with her making the three elephants on stage levitate before they disappear in a cloud on confetti. The rest of the film has Zee using her powers to defend herself and her friends from the dark forces that are trying to stop them.

When Swamp Thing brought them to the castle lair of Felix Faust, Zee uses her magic to reveal it from the spell Faust used to hide it. After entering the castle and helps her friends fight him, however, she realises that she is unable to cast a spell. Due to the spell Faust cast to keep any woman who enters silent, keeping Zee from using spells that require speech. Luckily Zee was still able to use a wand to cast a locating spell to find the relic Faust is using to maintain his spell, and to use the wand's stored magic to fight him. Once Zee got her voice again she unleashed her full fury upon him, tapping into a side of her magic that she normally wouldn't use. From how she nearly lost herself to it, if John Constantine hadn't stopped her from killing Faust.

After the true mastermind was revealed and tried to kill the four heroes, Zee uses all of her strength to cast a shielding spell. She was out for the count from using too much magic, but was protected by the charmed pendant Constantine felt by her side. Once Zatanna was fully rested and recharged she joins the final, as she casted a teleportation spell to bring herself to the city and then uses her magic to keep the nightmare vision infused Justice League from harming Batman. The last time Zee is seen using her magic in the film is when she uses it to open a door to her dressing, but before she could walk through her magic summoned door, Constantine gets her to make it disappear when she agrees to have a drink with him.

DC Super Hero Girls

As a child Zee wasn't aware of her magical abilities, or that her father is able to use real magic, until her powers woken. Not knowing what was happening to her and fear led to her losing control of her awaken powers, Zee tried to hide them from her father. Who was over joyed to see that Zee has inherited his magic, the only reason he kept her in the dark about them was because he wasn't if she would, and didn't want Zee to feel bad about herself. Learning that he'll be there to help Zee control her magic, brought her comfort and was able to learn how to use her magic before reaching her teens. After years of using her magic in her father's show, and working up to staring in her own show, she finds herself using her powers as a hero and a member of the Super Hero Girls.

Whenever her magic is combined with her negative emotions, however, they tend to cause trouble. Like brainwashing her friends into party celebrating zombies. Despite having real magic, everyone else thinks that her powers are fake or not taken in by, and only show interested in fake magic. That isn't cast by her father. Upsetting Zee, from feeling that she is trapped in his shadow and wants to shine with her own magic.

Zatanna has always been known as one of DC's top magical heroes, as each adaptation of Zee had her having full mastery of her magic or struggles with it, during character development. Some cargo ships have been of a person and their powers, or simply the element they are of and the source they originate from. YouTube has many videos of fictional characters using their iconic or temporary powers, Zatanna and moments she has used her magic, in one the many medias she has appeared in, are one of them.
