ZelSlate is the cargo ship between Zelda and the Sheikah Slate from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
During the excavations of ancient Sheikah Technology, Zelda's research team uncovered a rectangular object and Impa proposed that she should hold on to it, in hopes that it would bring up new developments and would prove useful. Due to not being able to find a proper name for the device that they recently found, they decided to call it the Sheikah Slate as Purah insisted though Zelda isn't too fond of the name though she knew she could not win the argument but does not complain any further. Eventually, they were able to get the Sheikah Slate working and discovered that it was capable of producing images and it captures the perfect likeness of the subject without needing an artist to capture it in perfect detail, which Zelda is continuously amazed how technology works and there is still more to learn about its uses, and it may have a function to control the Guidance Stone. The Champions were also noted to take interest in the Sheikah Slate as well and Purah helps with their photo shoot.
During her travels with Link, Zelda is often seen holding it in her hands and admiring it and is noted to use it to study the technology she is studying. Zelda also attempts to use the Sheikah Slate on one of the Shrines, though it does not respond as it was inactive. Zelda states that a fated hero can access it, but she is certain that there should be another way and wonders how she can get into the Shrine, this is interrupted by Link's arrival and gets mad by telling him that she is fine on her own and not to follow her around. However, after surviving the Yiga attack Zelda starts warming up to him. Zelda is seen using the Sheikah Slate to snap photos of various plants and creatures that she sees and admires her favorite flower called the Silent Princess which can only thrive in the wild and catches a Hot-Footed Frog and tries to get Link to taste it to experiment on its ability enhancements. After Link was sent to the Shrine of Resurrection during Calamity Ganon's attack, Zelda leaves the Sheikah Slate on the pedestal in the room for him to use when he recovers before using her power to seal Ganon. A century later, Link makes several uses of it and uses various Runes to help solve puzzles, to get around the entire kingdom, and activate Guidance Stones. After Zelda is freed and uses her power to destroy Ganon, Link returns the Sheikah Slate to her, and she finds that Divine Beast Vah Ruta has stopped working and plans on heading to Zora's Domain to find out what caused the malfunction.
Age of Calamity[]
Impa is fleeing from the Bokoblins with the Sheikah Slate in tow and passes it to Link and unexpectedly activated Terrako who causes the Sheikah Towers to rise from the ground. Princess Zelda not only uses the Sheikah Slate for her studies throughout her journey to activate various Sheikah tech in preparation for Calamity Ganon's return, but it is also her main weapon of choice to fight against Ganon's forces and she refuses to sit at the sidelines and decides to be creative with the Slate's Runes to be of use and to compensate for her currently dormant sacred power. During the battles she is in, she is seen using the Runes in ways that were not seen in Breath of the Wild and it helped that Terrako originating from another timeline where such tech would be invented after Ganon's attack, would end up being discovered much earlier when they were originally. This has proved to be very useful and has helped both before and during the Calamity.
Tears of the Kingdom[]
While the Sheikah Slate is absent, the Purah Pad takes its place. Unlike with the Sheikah Slate through, Zelda isn't seen using it often aside from using it to take photos of ancient murals and statues of Zonai and Hyrule's distant history and hands it to Mineru for a while and later uses it to teleport Rauru, Sonia, and herself to safety after Ganondorf becomes the Demon King.
Fanon[]
ZelSlate is pretty popular in numerous Breath of the Wild series fan fics as well as fan art which often has Zelda have possession of the Slate which also helps that she is passionate of all things technology and spending time studying how they work which she would much rather pursue than have to train for her sacred power which she oftentimes could not bring to the surface. There are also fan art of Link holding the Sheikah Slate as well as he predominately uses it in Breath of the Wild while Zelda used it before Calamity Ganon returned primary for research. Zelda is notable for using the Sheikah Slate for combat as shown in Age of Calamity where it was her weapon that she uses until she is able to access her power.
