Zemma is the het ship between Emma and Zee from the Total Drama fandom.

Emma is slightly annoyed Zee doesn't know what a cassowary is.
Emma and Zee rarely interacted before the merge, as they were placed on different teams. Despite that, Zee praises Emma's attempts on taking his team's skull in "Numbskull Island," even though she was failing. In "Severe Eggs and Pains," Zee does not understand what a cassowary is. Emma attempts to help him, but she only says "cassowary," which does not help the confused Zee. Upon realizing he doesn't know what a cassowary even is, she then tells him "It's a bird."
In Episode 9, "Paddle Field Earth," Bowie attempts to get Emma to flirt with Chase to form an alliance. Since she had just broken up with Chase again the episode prior, she suggests to Bowie that she should flirt with Zee instead. Emma seems serious about wanting to flirt with Zee, much to Bowie’s surprise. Due to this, Bowie says that they "don't even know how flirting works on Zee's planet." After, Bowie and Emma watch Zee attempt to eat a butterfly, which he spits out since it tastes "nothing like butter."
After seeing Zee's actions, Emma agrees to get Chase to join them, but specifies she will not be flirting with him. When Zee is asked to join Emma, Chase, and Bowie's alliance, he starts to break the news to them that he's already in Julia, Priya, and Millie's alliance. However, he begins to get an idea, telling himself that he's "idea-ing." He then agrees to join their alliance, wanting to turn both alliances into one secretly. When Emma and Chase are buried alive, Zee throws a fish to bait away the bears who surrounded the grave, earning their thanks.
When Zee helps the other alliance consisting of Julia, Priya, and Millie, Chase is confused about why Zee is helping their opponents. In response, Emma says that Zee is just giving them bad advice. Emma is impressed by his sneakiness, and he tells her that he doesn't know what she means. Emma, believing he's just pretending to not know, winks at him, but Zee remains confused, saying he really doesn't know what she means while in the confessional. After Zee revealed his plan, it can be assumed Emma's re-vote was for him.

In the fandom, Zemma started as a rarepair, as rarely any edits or fanart existed of this ship. Emmzee was also less liked because of ships such as Chemma and Zeemien or Chazee, which were shipped by more of the fandom. However, it became more popular over time. The people who ship Emmzee might do it because Emma wanted to flirt with Zee over Chase and because they believe Zee would treat her much better than Chase ever did.
