Zhongfei is the het ship between Zhongli and Yanfei from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Zhongli and Yanfei are both from Liyue. Zhongli is an Archon while Yanfei is a half-illuminated-beast. Most illuminated beasts have signed a contract with Rex Lapis, or Zhongli, to protect Liyue. Yanfei is one of the few to have not signed a contract with Zhongli since she was born in a time of peace and just wants to live happily. However, Yanfei's father has campaigned with Rex Lapis in the past. Yanfei's most prized possession is a steelyard balance given to her by her father. It's said that the balance was a treasure that can be used to measure the value of all things, and it was given by Rex Lapis.
In Zhongli's voiceline for Yanfei, he mentions that she has never signed a contract with him but she still upholds order in many levels of Liyue's society. He says that he can imagine Yanfei's father being very delighted if he returned from his travels.
In Yanfei's voiceline for Zhongli, Yanfei referes to him as "Mr. Zhongli." She talks about how he is like a walking library since he has so much in-depth knowledge on so many things. She could tell that he is a humble savant just by looking at him. Yanfei says that Zhongli isn't a potential client since people like him tend to take on complex problems alone. Yanfei says that she thinks she knows Zhongli from somewhere, and she asked her father about it only to get an evasive response. Yanfei wonders if her father is hiding something from her, and she says she'll have to find out for herself.

Zhongfei isn't that popular within its fandom, though it still has a few fans. There is also some fanart and fanfiction of the pairing. Some people like the platonic pairing, as Yanfei represents the children born in the modern, peaceful era. Zhongfei is typically overshadowed by more popular ships like ZhongChi and YanTao. ZhongTao is also decently popular, so some people like to ship Zhongli, Hu Tao and Yanfei in one ship, Zhongtaofei. Chifei isn't very popular, but some people still like to ship Zhongli, Tartaglia and Yanfei in one ship, Zhongchifei.
