Season 5[]
SLAY ANYTHING
After getting locked up in the lab, Zari asks Gideon how man catchat followers she's lost since ending up on the Waverider. Gideon says that she can't tell her that, and Zari decided that it's probably best that she doesn't know. She sees the computer and asks if it gets internet, and gets on it. She then gets some flashes to the other timeline, and is able to unlock the door. Gideon asks how she was able to get past her security protocols, and Zari says that she's just an overall genius. She then tells Gideon to call her a ride as she walks out of the room.
A HEAD OF HER TIME
Zari talks to Mari Antoinette and gets the idea to ask Gideon about her future. She asks if there's anything she needs to worry about, but Gideon reminds her that Ava told her not to look at her future. Zari just wants a peak and Gideon gives in, showing how her empire collapses from her perfume. She thinks Gideon might be able to make her a new perfume, before getting the idea to take Marie Antoinette's.

Zidget is a bit of a smaller ship in the Legends fandom. Although there were fans who speculated that they might get together when it was revealed that Gideon would become human in the last season of the show. Though this wasn't initially taken that seriously. Fans were disappointed when human Gideon and Zari didn't interact as much as they wanted to. Meaning that there weren't any new fans who gravitated towards the ship after the initial concept. Many preferred the idea of the two of them though over Gideon and Gary getting together. Many like that Zari gave Gideon the nickname "Gidget", although it was most likely out of mishearing her name. Gideon continually responding to the name, does make many think that she's fond enough of Zari to allow it. Some do ship the evil version of them introduced in the last season.
On AO3, Zidget is the fifth most written ship for Gideon. There are currently 18 written works.
