Zirange is the family ship between Zira and the Strange Lion from The Lion King fandom.

Canon

Zira was introduced in the film The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and also appeared and was referenced in the series The Lion Guard. She is the most loyal supporter of Scar and remains faithful to his memory even after he perishes and Simba becomes the rightful king of the Pride Lands. The Strange Lion's sole appearance to date was in the special episode "Battle for the Pride Lands." He was responsible for inflicting Scar with his namesake feature as part of an attempt to gain Scar's help in taking over the Pride Lands. Scar responded by destroying the Strange Lion and his cobra ally with the power of the Roar of the Elders.

The series offers no explicit indications of any connection between Zira and the Strange Lion. However, there are a number of visual similarities in their designs. Both of them possess a stripe that runs along their back and ends between their eyes, resembling a widow's peak. Zira and the Strange Lion also both possess eyes with yellow sclera and red irises, tan fur with cream-colored markings, and notched right ears. The Strange Lion also has a nose resembling that of Zira and the other Outsiders and even Scar, as opposed to the type that is typical of many Pride Lands lions.

Aside from their visual resemblance, Zira and the Strange Lion have certain other commonalities that contribute to the theory that they are related. Just as the Strange Lion attempted to manipulate Scar for his own purposes, Zira sought to indoctrinate her own children and to manipulate Scar's great nephew Kion in her bid to seize control of the Pride Lands. Both Zira and the Strange Lion have mysterious origins, with Zira and her followers having been created for The Lion King II and thus having no presence in the original The Lion King. The two both have connections to Scar, though the Strange Lion sought to be Scar's master while Zira was Scar's most devoted follower. And both the Strange Lion and Zira would eventually perish in their pursuits, though the Strange Lion was killed by Scar while Zira's own hatred led her to reckless action that culminated in her death.

One possible obstacle to the theory is the fact that, were it true, Zira's siding with Scar would mean that she joined forces with her own father's killer. However, given the Strange Lion's obvious malice, the general consensus seems to lean towards him being an absentee parent at best and an abusive one at worst. This, in turn, may have contributed to Zira's own parenting style, in which she both abused her children and sought to turn them into remorseless killers. As such, Zira may in fact have been grateful to Scar for killing her hated father, only to unwittingly perpetuate the cruel behavior he had inflicted upon her.
