Zora Siblings is the family ship between Mipha and Sidon from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
As Princess Zelda was speaking with Mipha, the latter calls down to Sidon, who is at the foot of the Veiled Falls, and when told by Zelda that he might be too young, Mipha tells her that she would have to leave him one day to face her fate with Ruta. She dives down to the bottom to meet with Sidon and tells her to join her so he can get the feel of it. She carries him on his back and brings him to the top and as she did, Sidon is becoming more amazed by this. Once returning to Zelda's level, Mipha tells him that if anything happens to her on the battlefield, she wants him to take his place as Zora's Domain and the next ruler, asking if he understood. She believes in him and asks if he would like to go one more time. However, once Calamity Ganon returned, Mipha and the Champions were killed when the monster seized control of the Divine Beasts, leaving the Zora devastated and they have constructed a statue of her as a memento to her.
A century later, Sidon grew up to be a full-grown adult and when Vah Ruta begins rampaging with endless rains, he went against the insistences of the Zora Council and sought outside help due to Vah Ruta's water pumps requiring electricity, which is dangerous to Zoras. After Link arrives, he is asked if he remembers Mipha, but due to memory loss, he does not. Eventually Sidon had to speak with Muzu about Link and Mipha and when Link wears the Zora Armor which fits him perfectly, this further proves that Mipha did love Link and it was meant for him. Muzu is reluctant at first, but he does give advice that he can get Shock Arrows from a Lynel at Ploymus Rock while skeptical of the outcome. After Sidon helps Link board Vah Ruta, he is able to destroy Waterblight Ganon, the perpetrator behind her death allowing Mipha to take back control. This has the Zora's celebration of their home being saved, even Muzu lightens up. Sidon has been seen visiting Mipha's statue every night and when spoken to, he will apologize for his moment of weakness.
Age of Calamity[]
Mipha is happy to see Link again up until they hear that monsters are attacking Zora's Domain, and Sidon is missing. This centers the mission on protecting the domain and finding Sidon, who is revealed to be at the forbidden Ploymus Rock. They find Sidon holding a spear against a Red-Maned Lynel threatening him. After Link, Zelda, and Mipha drive it off, Mipha reunites with Sidon and lightly scolds him for wondering off on his own and had her worried sick. She nontheless tells her that she is proud to have a brave little brother, prompting a smile from Sidon.
When Mipha is at the mercy of Waterblight Ganon, Terrako's Gate of Time brings an adult Sidon back and he breaks the ice weapons before they hit her, refusing to let it take her again. Mipha is shocked to see Sidon as an adult as she only knows Sidon to be a child. They managed to hold on until Link and the party arrives and slays Waterblight Ganon. Mipha is exhausted and had to stay behind while Sidon joins the group. Mipha cools the lava flow to let them cross over so they can save Daruk and Yunobo from Fireblight Ganon. As Daruk was thanking everyone, Mipha questions Sidon, asking if he really is her brother, which he confirms and adds that he came from the future and explains that in his time he heard a voice and thought he heard Mipha and heads back in time and ends up inside Vah Ruta. Mipha and Sidon help Goponga Village deal with monsters and as Mipha was healing one of them, the young Sidon puts up a spear against an electric Moblin despite her pleas for him to turn back before the future Sidon slays it. He asks his younger self if he is alright and Mipha is relieved to see that the two of them are not hurt and asks her smaller brother what he is doing here. Sidon explains that he only wanted to help them, though he tells them that he should not go off on his own but praises him for his courage and he will only get stronger until he is able to protect his sister, and they both grin as Mipha laughs in amusement
Mipha and Sidon team up to back up Akkala Citadel and managed to save Link from a Guardian and promised to help them in any way they can. Mipha tells him that she is proud of the Zora he became, and Sidon replies that they can do this while trailing off for a moment before focusing on the battle ahead. Mipha leaves Vah Ruta, handing the control over to Sidon as they deal with the more dangerous monster army. As Vah Ruta is running out of power, Daruk and Yunobo arrive to assist them. They would also help Urbosa and Riju take out the reinforcements. Eventually, Purah teleports all the armies across Hyrule and even with Ganon trying to hold them back through the Blood Moon, they were able to defeat Astor, Harbinger Ganon, and eventually Calamity Ganon once and for all. As the future Champions are sent back to their own time, Mipha and Sidon say good-bye as they are sent back to their own time. In the secret DLC ending, both the young and older Sidon are having their bond and Mipha arrives and pats them both on their heads which they grin and are later seen at Hyrule Castle with the present and future Champions, as Terrako amuses them.
Fanon[]
Zelda fans fell in love with the two Zora siblings the very moment they saw the strong bond they shared in the DLC. They have noted that it is the most heartwarming as well as the most tragic sibling bond in the series, due to the fact that Mipha's death meant that he is forced to grow up without a sister for the remainder of his life. It impacted not just everyone in Zora's Domain, but Sidon as well as he often visited Mipha's statue every night thinking of her and longed to see her again. Even in Age of Calamity, they loved how they managed to be an awesome team together and bittersweet as Sidon has his moments of vulnerability when he thinks of the Mipha from his own time that he lost but was at least happy to be with her for a short time. Sidon having missed his sister got to the point where he isolates himself from everyone and is reluctant to let his fiancée Yona help hold back the sludge until Yona tells him that he is letting the past hold him back when he has a future ahead of him and encourages him to move forward and lead a happy life as Mipha had wanted.
