The Boiling Rock[]
Zuko and Sokka head to the boiling rock prison in search of Sokka's father. Unable to find him, Zuko tries to chear up Sokka with one Iroh's saying, which seems to work. Only for it to be seen that Sokka is happy because he sees Suki in the yard.
After Zuko gets captured and stuck in prison, he and Suki end up doing mop duty together. However, Suki remembers that he burned down her village and he apologizes. Sokka pulls them aside and tells them his plan on how to get out, which gets hijacked by another prisoner. Sokka ends up deciding to stay behind when he finds out about a transfer of prisoners coming in the next day, as one of them might be his father. Suki and Zukko decide to stay behind with him, and the three hide in order to see the prisoners coming in.

Zukki has a decent following in the ATLA fandom. Most Zukki fans started to ship the three during the two parter "The Boiling Rock", seeing how they all seemed to get along a lot. The ship initially didn't have a big fanbase, but gained traction when ATLA returned to USA Netflix during the 2020 pandemic. Those that started to ship it pointed out that when Chit Sang called Suki "your girlfriend", it never indicated if he was talking to Sokka or Zuko. Many fans believing that Sang believed that all three of them were in a relationship together.
A lot of shippers tend to ship the two as they don't want to pick between Zukka and Sukka, often seeing the two as equally great ships. Shippers do wish Zuko and Suki got to interact more though, as it would help expand on the dynamic of the three, seeing that, in the main show, they're only seen together in the two parts of "The Boiling Rock", though Suki and Zuko do interact in the graphic novel trilogy "The Promise".
On AO3, Zukki is the third most written ship for Suki and the tenth most written for Sokka. As of 30/04/2024, it has 305 written works.
